    1. It makes people tag marriage as expensive

A lot of the pictures people share on social media about both their pre-wedding photos and the big day events only depict extravagance and glamour. This may scare a lot of singles to remain single and still think they have to work harder and get more money before they get married.

  1. Increases stress

No doubt; weddings do come with a lot of stressful activities and these pictures which add no value to the real marriage could be avoided to reduce the stress both partners have to go through to meet, change clothes, do make ups and the likes just to look good for the camera.

  1. It adds no value to the marriage

Taking wonderful pictures is just for a moment but the actual marriage is a different ball game altogether. In fact, happy pre-wedding photoshoots do not guarantee marital happiness, success and add no value to the marriage.

  1. Marriage is work but not photographic memory

Marriage is not all about taking pictures of your happy moments and smiling in front of the camera. There are dark sides to every marriage. Your marriage cannot be left on autopilot and expect it to work. Marriage calls for work and it behooves both partners to plan and work it out.

  1. It’s all vanity

One of the things you need to have at the back of the your mind is it is not how viral your pre-wedding photoshoots went, not how beautiful they looked and not how wonderful the event went. The most important thing is how both of you will make it work and how both of you remain faithful and loving to each other despite the marital storms that may come your way.

To the singles, think twice about it before you embark on the journey of a pre-wedding photoshoot.
